Welcome back to the Élan blog!
The Élan staff has had a rejuvenating summer break, and we hope it’s been the same for all our readers.
Congratulations to everyone who was accepted into our 2025 Fall/Winter and 2026 Spring/Summer editions! Our staff is working hard to create the best version of Élan to date, just in time for the 40th print edition launch party. The launch party is taking place at MOCA at 7pm on Friday, October 16, so be sure to attend if you can!
This isn’t the only event Élan is hosting this year, however. On Saturday, September 19, not only will Élan be tabling at Jax Book Fest, but we will also have contributors performing their own pieces from both the 2025 Fall/Winter and 2026 Spring/Summer edition of Élan.
Additionally, with the return of the 2026-2027 school year as well as the Élan blog, the Élan Instagram page is soon to follow. Stay on the lookout for updates on staff, where we’ll be, and submission openings and deadlines. Remember to submit to our upcoming 2026 Fall/Winter edition through the Élan email at elanlitmagazine@gmail.com if you’re not a Douglas Anderson student.
