Another Day in the Sanctuary

It’s another day in the Sanctuary,  
People go through daily routine,  
Life comes at us, and life goes through us,   
With boulders of life rolling down our hills,  
But all that happens is we sleep,  
And wake up again,  
To another day in the Sanctuary.

It’s another day in the Sanctuary,  
Creatures die, people die,  
And life goes through us still,  
We try to find fixes to our struggles,  
But we live in constant circles,  
Only to wake up again,  
To another day in the Sanctuary.

It’s another day in the Sanctuary,

Disaster comes, disaster goes,

Form fires to wars and some people,

Sadness can strike as an unexpected rain,

But we push through,

Only to wake up again,

To another day in the Sanctuary.

It’s another day in the Sanctuary,  
That makes our lives miserable,

That gives us all our sorrows,

That shatters dreams like a hammer on glass,

All so we can wake up,

To another day in the cruel Sanctuary.

Yet another day in our Sanctuary,

And people have found joy in what they do,

People are happy as the day goes by,

We know the struggles that life brings too,

The Sanctuary may be cruel,

But we are content,

C’est la vie,

That’s just life in the Sanctuary.
